World’s Top Concert Destinations To Rock Your Summer Vacation

Concert CrowdSome concert aficionados appreciate more than just whatever band or artist is on stage at the moment. Sometimes it is about the venue itself. It’s not strictly about acoustics either. An argument can be made that a true concert experience is the atmosphere of the venue and the surroundings. No matter how far technology has come, there is no way to recreate the beauty of a star-filled sky while enjoying a concert or the majesty of stunningly beautiful natural surroundings that add atmosphere to the music coming from the stage.

Some of the world’s top outdoor concert destinations combine all these elements into what amounts to a truly memorable concert experience.

Red Rocks Amphitheater, (near Denver Colorado)

Red-Rocks Ampitheater ColoradoRed Rocks has hosted a wide range of artists from U2 and Stevie Nicks to Diana Krall and John Tesh. Set in one of the most beautiful mountain parks in the North America, this definitely one unforgettable outdoor venue. Colorado’s famed red rocks area was formed almost 300 million years ago. The potential of this area, which nature seemed to sculpt, was first discovered in the early 1900s. The natural acoustics are said to be amazing. Add to that a breathtaking setting and some good music and you have a venue that really rocks!
