Elite Status With Hertz Just Got Easier To Reach

Are you jealous of the special treatment that elite travelers receive at every turn?  Hertz hears your pain and has just announced a reduction in the requirements for reaching Five Star and President’s Club elite status.

Members of the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards loyalty program can now achieve and retain elite status tiers faster.  The Five Star level can now be achieved by reaching 7 rentals rather than the previous 10, and Presidents Club level is attained with half the rentals – 20 instead of the previously 40.  Hertz is the only rental car company that updates member’s upgrades monthly.

Renters are able to sign up for Gold Plus Rewards right at rental counters.  With Hertz Gold Choice, renters are able to receive messages right on their phone telling them exactly where their rental car is waiting.  Members can skip the counter at over 50 airports around the world and can simply show their driver’s license and pick up their keys.

Between February 1 to April 15, 2014 Gold members will earn Triple Points on qualifying rentals.  Before you know it, you too will be holding the rarefied elite status and enjoying all the perks that come with it.
