Parc des Buttes-Chaumont

We can essentially sum this up as one enormous playground for children, with numerous streams for paddling and a gazebo area on top of the hill. Kids will go mad for the alcove, which has a stunning waterfall going along with it, as well as the fantastic suspension bridge that is hung over the water. The hills are quite a lot of work to hike up. However, this just means that there is a lot of opportunity for having fun climbing and tumbling down the grassy knolls. If you look around the park, there is also a central pond, carnival games, and donkey rides that will provide entertainment to any happy child.

The Ménagerie located at the Jardin des Plantes

Paris with kids wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Ménagerie which contains a garden full of red pandas, cats and there is even a primary enclosure to go ape for! It is easy to get to with extensive transport links coming to it. It is also fabulously child-friendly too. Even though it isn’t the biggest, it certainly houses a large number of animals that kids will love looking at.

Atelier des Lumières

If you’re thinking about traveling to Paris with kids, this place has recently created a 300 m² studio space entirely dedicated to kids’ digital art. It used to be an iron foundry, and it remains rather barren for almost three decades until someone had the bright idea of launching the city’s first digital art exhibit there. It’s a wonderful place for adults to explain scintillating facts about Paris for kids. There are so many user-friendly parts of the museum every exhibit features substance that kids will love – high-tech projectors, lasers, and a lot more.

Bois de Boulogne

If you go to the Bois de Boulogne, you can find the Jardin d’Acclimatation, which is full of brilliant things for the young ones to do. There are puppet shows, pony rides, a farm with livestock, an obstacle acrobatics course, and the garden even have their aviary with over 200 types of birds. It is an ideal location to visit during the summer months because it allows children to cool down with various water-themed activities. There are also all sorts of nature-based attractions, workshops, rides, and physical activities to satisfy the curiosities of every little child. Once they arrive, it might be difficult to take them away!

It is only a short bus or train ride from the city center, and children will meet and greet all of their favorite Disney characters, from Goofy to Mickey Mouse. We recommend that if you go to purchase a fast pass so that you can skip the large queues, or alternatively go during low season times. The Catacombes

While not for every family, this is an area rich in history that this bound to intrigue the minds of children. It is built at some time between the 17th and 18th centuries when city cemeteries were moved into the underground quarries.
