Aruba Travel Tips

Getting Settled

Our extraordinary experience began with our pre-arranged transportation from airport to hotel with Aruba’s Taxi Drivers, who we liked so much they became our Island transportation service. Solange and Andrick made us feel like celebrities, always available when we needed to go out. We stayed at the beautiful Aruba Marriott Stellaria’s Casino Hotel, located on L.G. Smith Boulevard.  The room was luxurious, and the service was impeccable. The hotel’s famous Atardi restaurant provided barefoot dining right on the beach. The menu included local dishes; however, the desserts were true works of art and delicious.

Sampling The Top Restaurants

Exploring the island’s culinary scene included visits to Papiamento’s is a true island gem. Originally a private home converted to a restaurant, surrounds you with beautiful trees and a swimming pool to make your dining experience feel unique and relaxing. Papiamento’s services local fishes presented in true island style.

Fara Blanco Restaurant Aruba

We dined at the famous Faro Blanco Restaurant, which boasts the most breathtaking views and sunset. Not to mention, the best Italian cuisine on the island. The Flying Fishbone Restaurant is one not to be missed. You have your we opted for the beach. The exquisite setting complements both the food and the service, creating an evening to remember.

Lots To Explore

We did more than just eat in this Aruba paradise. We took a fabulous all day Island tour with Viator Tours, starting at the world famous Aloe Factory and concluding with a long visit to Baby Beach and lunch at the famous Big Mama’s Grill. We had a fabulous day, and our driver took a little detour to show us something special. We chose Viator because of the availability of a smaller group, which gave us the opportunity to get to know everyone and to see everything without being crowded.

Vacations should be about relaxation and pampering, so we took the time book time at the magnificent and acclaimed Mandara Spa.   We indulged in the famous Balinese Massage, where every muscle was turned to jelly. I treated myself to a BioTec Firming Lift and my wrinkles melted away.

My husband toughed out the trade winds at  Terria Del Sol resort, for a challenging game of golf. He loved the course, and it certainly enhanced his skills.
